GTİP Lookup
Search by code or product name: see the position in the 2026 Turkish Customs Tariff Schedule (TGTC) and the customs duty rate.
Type a code or product name above to start searching.
What this tool is not
The code and rate you see here are the general structure of the TGTC — they are not a binding tariff determination for your product. The same product can fall under a different GTİP depending on its technical specification, intended use, and which explanatory note it is assessed under; determining this requires technical review, not a single search box.
If you want a definitive result that also binds you, the way is a Binding Tariff Information (BTI) application or a customs broker reviewing your product. The duty rate shown is also the TGTC's statutory tariff rate; VAT, excise duty, anti-dumping duty, or different rates arising from a preferential trade agreement are not included in this figure.
Reading the code
GTİP has 12 digits and is layered: the first 6 digits are the code used in common by World Customs Organization member countries, the the HS code; digits 7–8 follow the EU Combined Nomenclature, and the final 4 digits are Türkiye's own subdivisions within the TGTC. In short: the first 6 digits are shared internationally, and the last 4 are specific to Türkiye — the distinction most people searching for an English "GTİP code" explanation are looking for.
The right code has to be found not from the product name but from the product's material, intended use and degree of processing; we walked through the steps of this process on the GTİP classification method page.
The rate shown in the search result above is, as we noted, the TGTC's statutory tariff rate — it is not the total import cost you will pay. We explained step by step, on the customs duty calculation method page, how the rate is applied to the customs value (CIF price) and how VAT is added on top of it.
